TheARTI$t Shares Bedroom Banger ‘I Need You’

Rising R&B act TheARTI$t is full of passion in her new song “I Need You,” out via No More Heroes/Santa Anna.

Over a slow-burning backdrop recalling the early 2000s, TheARTI$t lets her smooth charm shine while she expresses a deep craving for intimacy with her partner.

“I’ll be waiting on the couch when you done / We can skip the conversation if you want / While I assess your sticky situation,” she sings on the passionate track. 

“I Need You” is paired with a rose-filled visualizer directed by MAXOTG, which can be watched below.

Speaking on “I Need You,” TheARTI$t tells Rated R&B, “I grew up on ’90s music, and there’s something about that era that just made people feel. With this record, I wanted to tap into that sophisticated, sensual, and nostalgic energy but reimagined for women today. I want them to have a reason to put on their favorite dress and feel sexy again!”

“I Need You” is the New Jersey native’s first single since releasing her EP Who I Am in June. The nine-track project included collaborations with R&B singer Honey Bxby and rapper Kaliii. 

Before that, she released her ARTchives EP in 2023, which was reissued in 2024 with ARTchives: The Gallery.
