Kevin Ross Releases New Holiday Song ‘This Winter’

Kevin Ross doesn’t need much for Christmas.

The singer-songwriter’s new song “This Winter” unwraps what the holidays truly mean for him. “All I need is love, for Christmas / And that will be enough, for Christmas,” he sings in the chorus.

Speaking on “This Winter,” Ross notes, “This song is really about love being the greatest gift of all. No matter where you are or who you’re with, the heart of the holidays is connection.”

He continues, “‘This Winter’ is my way of wrapping that feeling in melody and soul. It’s the kind of record I hope people return to year after year.”

“This Winter,” which arrives under Rolling Out Music, follows Ross’ album Love Uptempo: Max, which dropped in late August via Art Society Music Group. The album included his No. 1 hit “Love in the Middle,” which topped Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. 

Regarding the Louis York production, Ross told Rated R&B, “Eight years ago, I scored my first number one on this chart. A lot of things have changed since then. Artists and trends have come and gone. Honestly, I can’t credit talent to this win, but God engineering and a great team.”
