Kiana Ledé Releases ‘Cuts Ties (Deluxe Version)’

Kiana Ledé isn’t done letting go of what no longer serves her just yet. The Phoenix native has released Cut Ties (Deluxe Version), an extended version of her 2024 album, via BMG. 

The reissue features four bonus tracks, including three remixes with Chlöe (“Weakness”), Queen Naija (“U Can’t Remember”) and BJ The Chicago Kid (“Outta Luck”), plus the fresh track “Jury.” 

“This album marked a turning point in my life and career,” says Ledé about her first independent project. “The deluxe version feels like closing the loop, a celebration of growth, healing, and the incredible support my fans have shown me this past year.”

On “Jury,” produced by I LIKE THAT, Ledé contemplates getting payback on an ex who betrayed her heart. “Ain’t no wrong place or wrong time / Ain’t no bad fight / Jury’s on my side if I kill you / No telling what I will do / In the broad day or cold night,” she sings in the chorus. 

The standard version of Cut Ties was released Nov. 1, 2024. The 11-track album was preceded by the singles “Natural” and “Space and Pussy.” 

“Cut Ties is more [about] looking at all of my relationships when it comes to [romance], friendships, and even some of the parts of myself,” Ledé told Rated R&B in a 2024 interview. “Self-reflection is a common theme of all my projects, but this one is more about growth and the empowered version of me coming out from reflecting on the grudges I have with different people and showing this romantic timeline that reflects more recent relationships.”
