Sabrina Claudio Shares New Song ‘Before It’s Too Late’

Sabrina Claudio‘s new single “Before It’s Too Late” rings with a bit of urgency.

On the STINT-produced track, Claudio reminds herself that in this unpredictable life, it’s better to express your feelings to someone you love than to live with regret later.

“I should tell you that I’m thankful / Even though I’ve been a handful for the last few years,” she coos.

Speaking on her new track, Claudio explains, “‘Before It’s Too Late’ is intended to encourage listeners to verbalize their thoughts and/or make an effort to make their love for one another visibly apparent. Before it’s too late to do so, before love is lost, before what’s done can’t be undone, before there is no time left.”

She adds, “As someone who deeply struggles with expressing emotions, I only realized by the end of it all that I wrote this as a reminder to myself to love loudly and intentionally.”

“Before It’s Too Late” is accompanied by a romantic, self-directed video that picks up where “Need U To Need Me” left off. In it, Claudio and her lover enjoy each other’s company as they savor a private picnic, row a boat together and slow-dance under the golden sun. 

“Before It’s Too Late” is the follow-up to “Need U To Need Me,” also produced by STINT, released on March 7.  “I wrote ‘Need U To Need Me’ as a fear-based admission. A romanticized translation of longing and yearning to be a necessity to the ones you love most,” explained Claudio.

“While most stigmatize needing as a form of weakness, I believe admitting that needing someone or desiring to be needed is a form of strength that can potentially breed a sense of closeness and community with those you value.”

Both tracks mark the dawn of a new era of music for Claudio. Her last project, Archives & Lullabies, was released in 2023. It featured a collection of unreleased tracks and acoustic versions of songs from her 2022 album, Based On A Feeling.

Regarding Based On A Feeling, Claudio shared, “[It] stems from the promise I made of only making decisions based on a feeling of love and pure intentions. I took this idea and allowed it to guide me through the creative process of this album in every single aspect and I could not be more fulfilled with the final result.”
