Summer Walker’s ‘Heart of a Woman’ Hits No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart

Summer Walker‘s “Heart of a Woman” pulses to No. 1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart dated May 24, 2025.

The Tavaras Jordon-produced track reaches the pole position in its 19th week on the list. It marks Walker’s fourth victory on the chart. 

Her other No. 1s on the Adult R&B Airplay chart include “Good Good” (Usher with Summer Walker and 21 Savage), “Back Home” (Trey Songz featuring Summer Walker) and “Unloyal” (Summer Walker and Ari Lennox). Of all her chart-toppers, “Good Good” spent the most time at No. 1 — six weeks. 

“Heart of a Woman” debuted on the Adult R&B Airplay chart in mid-January, tallying her eighth entry. In early March, it reached the top 10, becoming her fifth. 

Further, “Heart of a Woman” is No. 1 on the R&B radio chart monitored by Mediabase. The soul-stirring ballad received 2,317 spins, up 159 spins from last week, with an audience impression of 9 million.

“Heart of a Woman” is the lead single from Walker’s highly anticipated third album, Finally Over It, coming later this year via LVRN/Interscope Records.

The upcoming project marks the final installment of the trilogy that began with her 2019 debut album, Over It, followed by 2021’s Still Over It. 

Finally Over It will also include the latest single, “Spend It,” which dropped May 2.

Walker’s last album became her first No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with 166,000 equivalent units sold. Still Over It included collaborations with SZA (“No Love“), Ari Lennox (“Unloyal“), JT of City Girls (“Ex For A Reason“), Ciara (“Ciara’s Prayer”), Omarion (“Screwin”), Cardi B (“Bitter – Narration By Cardi B”) and Pharrell Williams (“Dat Right There”).  

Walker will join Chris Brown as a special guest on his Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour. She will be present on the majority of the North American dates from July 30 through Sept. 20.
