Tank has achieved a new milestone on the Billboard charts.
The R&B General has collected his tenth No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart with his feature on Aaliyah‘s posthumous single “Gone.”
Tank now ties with Charlie Wilson and Usher for the most No. 1s on the Adult R&B Airplay among male acts.
Overall, Alicia Keys leads all artists with 14 No. 1 hits, followed by Toni Braxton (11). Tank, Usher, Wilson, and Mary J. Blige tie for third with 10 chart-toppers each.
Here is a look at Tank’s No. 1s on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, ranked by longest run:

“Gone” premiered May 2 exclusively on BLK Stream, before releasing worldwide Aug. 1 via Blackground Records 2.0. Tank co-wrote the track with the late Static Major, with production by Sean Garrett and Azul Wynter.
“Getting the call to be part of her legacy’s continuation is truly amazing. It is a full-circle moment and an honor to contribute to the project,” said Tank.
In other news, Tank has announced that his new song, “Giddy Up,” will arrive in October. He previewed the R&B-country track, produced by Ghost Kid, on Instagram Live on Sept. 17.
The forthcoming tune will mark his first official single since dropping R&B Money: The Vault, the deluxe edition of his 2022 album, in April 2024.
The Vault included the Fabolous-assisted hit “Before We Get Started,” which led the Adult R&B Airplay chart for two weeks.
