Tori Kelly and Lucky Daye Team Up for New Song ‘Make a Baby’

Tori Kelly and Lucky Daye have joined forces for a new song “Make a Baby,” produced by Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, MarcLo and Mike Baretz.

The two vocalists flutter over a sweeping production, grounded by a smooth bassline and steady drums, as they express a desire to expand a love into a family.

“Making the complicated easy / Felt every kind of feeling / Passed every test / Boxes, checkеd / I’m ready for what comes next / Lеt’s make a baby,” Kelly and Daye harmonize. 

“Make a Baby” arrives as the mother-to-be anticipates her bundle of joy with her husband, André Murillo.

The couple announced that they are expecting a baby via a compilation video that showed them in a variety of places, before ending with a final shot that revealed Kelly’s baby bump.

Speaking on “Make a Baby,” Kelly shared, “This song perfectly captures the joy I’ve been feeling throughout my pregnancy and it’s already been the soundtrack to so many sweet moments. Every time it plays, I can’t help but smile — I still can’t believe this is real life. Releasing new music in the middle of such a beautiful season feels extra special and I’m so grateful to share it with you.”

“Make a Baby” is Kelly’s first single as a lead act since releasing TORI. (+ a little more), an expanded version of 2024’s TORI., the full-length version of her 2023 EP, tori.
