Daniel Caesar has earned three new RIAA awards this month.
His third album, Never Enough, has been crowned gold, with 500,000 equivalent units sold in the U.S. It marks Caesar’s second project to receive an RIAA certification, following his platinum-selling debut, Freudian.
Further, the bittersweet “Always” and the uplifting “Superpowers” have been certified platinum, with one million equivalent units sold.
Caesar’s new RIAA certs follow nine updates he received in February. Here’s an overview:

Never Enough was released April 7, 2023, via Hollace Inc./Republic Records. It debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart and No. 14 on the Billboard 200.
The project features collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign (“Homiesexual”), Mustafa (“Toronto 2014”), serpentwithfeet (“Disillusioned”) and Omar Apollo (“Buyer’s Remorse”). It also includes other popular tracks, such as “Let Me Go,” “Valentina” and “Do You Like Me?”
Regarding Never Enough, he told Nadeska of Apple Music, “I want to make music that leads people somewhere as opposed to music that can pacify them or make them feel good,” he explained. “I want to make music that makes people want to change their life. Truly inspiring music.”
On May 16, Caesar will launch his Son of Spergy Tour in Singapore. The upcoming trek, in support of his album Son of Spergy, will make stops in Seoul, Hong Kong and Tokyo. In July, he will embark on the North American leg, which concludes in late August.
Released in October 2025, Son of Spergy features collaborations with Sampha, Bon Iver, Yebba, Blood Orange, 646yf4t, and his father, Norwill Simmonds, whom the album is inspired by.
